Joanne and Mark Darby

The practice of Core Yoga is simply a practice of strengthening core muscles around the spine; in particular the abdomen and the deeper muscles. According to the instructions of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, reference text Yoga posture and as advised by Mark Darby, professor of Ashtanga recognized for precision and enthusiasm of his teaching, according to Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, postures must be stable and comfortable. It goes without saying that to be good in the postures you first must develop sufficient strength to hold in order to feel at ease. This course is to develop this inner strength that helps to hold the postures while remaining calm and focused. We have developed a series of exercises to strengthen and firm the body. This course is somewhat the opposite of Yin Yoga since it does not need to let go in the posture, but the inner attitude is the same; we remain attentive to the breath by letting go of the thoughts and emotions that arise from our mind. A challenge for all with excellent results, both physically and mentally.

No prior experience is necessary, nor registration, bring your motivation and come directly! We recommend you view the video below to get an idea of what this course offers.
