Hatha Yoga is the classic form of postural yoga. Many great teachers have taught us their practice such as Sivananda and BKS Iyengar. However, it is the disciple of Yogi Gupta: Dharma Mittra who has given us his knowledge in the tradition of Parampara, direct lineage from master to disciple that provides instruction Yoga complete and accurate.
His teachings covers all aspects of the Patanjali Yoga. In Hatha Yoga class you will explore the practice of Asanas (postures), Pranayama (yogic breathing) and Meditation. The teacher leads all the courses and the postures are held to integrate the internal actions, breathing, calmness and concentration.
This style is the most suitable to take if you want to start postural yoga. You can also improve your practice as an intermediate or advanced practitioner as you slowly go deeper with more awareness within the practice.
No prior experience is necessary, nor registration, only a big motivation and openness is needed to come here! If you prefer to start slowly you are welcome to try a course of Gentle Yoga. This is a Hatha Yoga class offering a softer and slower approach. We recommend you view the video below to maximize your practice. You can find the schedule of the courses here. Thank you to consult our page to begin before coming for the first time. Hope to see you soon on the mat!
